Thank you for your interest in the 4th Annual Flintstone Challenge 5K Race/Walk. Launched by MSU medical students, this non-profit organization has been one of our means of giving back to the community that we have the privilege of training in. As we prepare to continue this tradition we would like to thank you for your willingness to participate in a truly worthy cause!
This year, we hope to host the biggest race yet and break records of years past to race more money than ever before for Flint Schools. Over the past 3 years, we have raised more than $37,000 for the Flint Classroom Support Fund, a Great Idea Grant program that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration among teachers to initiate innovative learning programs that have impacted thousands of Flint students.
We have officially begun organizing the 2016 FSC Race/Walk, scheduled for May 1, 2016! The course will stay the same, starting at 701 Crapo in front of the old Flint Central High School. We will also host the 3rd Annual Littlestone’s Challenge in the MSU College of Human Medicine building downtown (old Flint Journal Building) for another day of healthy, educational fun for young participants! The Littlestones Challenge will be scheduled soon so please stay tuned for more information!
Remember to spread the word as we get ready to open registration for the 4th Annual Flintstone Challenge 5K Race/Walk…and join us in a race for the future of Flint!
