April 2016 Newsletter

This month, we’re exited to announce that FroYo Nation has partnered with us to dedicate 20% of all sales to the Flintstone Challenge and Little Stone’s Challenge on Tuesday, April 12 from 6-10 pm! So please come out to 8251 Trillium Circle Avenue, Grand Blanc and enjoy some delicious FroYo Nation in support of your community! Also, don’t forget to join us at the Flint Farmer’s Market for face painting and fun on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 10 am - 1 pm

We’re weeks away from the 4th Annual Flintstone Challenge 5K Race/Walk. Over the past 3 years, your support has allowed MSU medical students to raise more than $37,000 for the Flint Classroom Support Fund, a Great Idea Grant program that has impacted thousands of Flint students through innovative learning experiences!

This year, you can sponsor a young, local runner through our homepage! Each sponsorship is a $30 tax-deductible donation toward race registration for children of Flint Schools and various other community resource centers. Help us to inspire students of the Flint area to enjoy a day with the community and invest in their health! Details at: http://flintstonechallenge.org/sponsorrunners

We will also host the 3rd Annual Little Stone’s Challenge on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 10 am - 2 pm in the MSU College of Human Medicine building downtown (old Flint Journal Building) for another day of FREE, healthy, educational fun for young participants, ages 4-12! We will have multiple health and fitness-themed stations, prizes and light snacks throughout our building.
